Quota International links members of all ages, occupations and nationalities in a worldwide network of service and friendship. Organised in 1919 as the first international women's service organisation, Quota's membership today includes men as well as women in clubs in North America, South America, the South Pacific, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. GovernanceThe organisation is governed by a nine-member board of directors. Quota's international bylaws and rules of procedure*, first established in 1919, are amended annually. Shared ValuesWith a motto of "We Share", Quotarians are known especially for their service to deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech-impaired individuals and disadvantaged women and children.
