The activities room was bursting with lots of love and laughter as Quota Whakatane kicked off Quota Cares Month with a visit to Mountain View Rest Home on St Patrick's Day. Lorraine Smith, Activities Coordinator had decorated the room with lots of lucky shamrocks and green balloons.
March is Quota Cares Month and Quota Whakatane has a busy month planned with visits to the rest homes in Whakatane, Ohope and Kawerau. The Quota Club has also organised a Joint Service Club Meeting to be held on Monday 23 March. The various Lions, Rotary and Quota clubs in the Eastern Bay have been invited to mix and mingle for the evening with guest speaker Noela Vallis. Noella is President of the Spinal Cord Society New Zealand. It is her vision to find a cure for those suffering with spinal injuries. She established the SCSNZ to raise funds to support effective research towards this goal in New Zealand. KarlaLt Gov Quota International District 37 |
