Quota International of Papakura is proud to be celebrating 21 years of hosting their annual antiques fair.

The club hosts this successful event with the sole purpose of raising funds for the community.  This year proceeds will be donated to The Hearing House to fund auditory-verbal therapy for South Auckland children who have received cochlear implants.  This therapy enables profoundly deaf children to hear and speak after receiving a cochlear implant, and with newborn hearing screening beginning at Middlemore Hospital in July it is expected there will be an increase in the demand for implants and this type of therapy.

The fair begins with opening night on Friday 2nd at 7.30pm with an opportunity to view and buy items from the seventeen antique dealers on site.  Refreshments will also be available.

Beautiful new patchwork quilts, knitting, clothing, toys and a great selection of second-hand linen were donated to the south Auckland branch of Grandparents raising Grandchildren by members of  Quota International of Papakura late last year.
