They are: Kathrine Devries, and Rosemary Mills. Both ladies have been impressed with the good work Quota does for the town, and expressed that they too, would like to contribute their time and talent to the community. The evening was attended by the District Team, Governor Karla Hammond, Lt Governor Shona Browne and Secretary Treasurer Sammy Wilson. Governor Karla took much pleasure in pinning the new members, while taking the time to congratulate the Opotiki Quota Club for the work and service they provided to the town.

Opotiki members Helen and Libby help at their successful 'Women's Wellness Day' Women’s Wellness Day – a community service projectWomen of all ages enjoyed an interesting Women’s Wellness day organised by Quota International of Opotiki. A wide variety of speakers and displays provided information on subjects such as heart disease, bone density, cancer – particularly skin, ovarian and breast cancer and types of screening available, incontinence, physiotherapy, naturopathic healing, hearing loss, forming trusts and making a will. The Quota members all took part and provided home baking for lunch and afternoon tea.
The Motu Challenge is a chance for Quota members to prove their culinary skills with gourmet hamburgers being sold to competitors and supporters at this annual Australasian multi –sport event.
