The Quota Community Champion Award honours young women who have faced difficulties in their lives and succeeded.

They are people who have met the challenges of daily life ‘head on’ and inspire others by their example.

By their positive attitude and efforts, they have become an inspiration to others in their community.

The goal of the award, in addition to honouring a disadvantaged person, is to help Quota members and members of their community to develop positive and constructive attitudes towards disadvantaged persons and to gain a better understanding of their needs.

The Award is open to young women aged 20 and under who have a physical, intellectual or social disadvantage.

Nominations must be received by 30 August 2010
A prize of $250 will be awarded to the winning nominee at an Awards Event, details of which will be sent to successful nominees.
