Recently Quota International of Opotiki celebrated its 28th birthday at the RSA. Many of the Charter members were there to share in the celebration.  Josie Mortenson was the Charter President and she is shown in the picture with the current President Florence Craig, cutting the birthday cake.

Many stories and funny moments were shared by past and present members. Helen Carruthers, the present Treasurer, proudly announced that Quota Opotiki had raised and donated in excess of $260,000 to the town during that time. The funds have been raised in a myriad of ways, including the selling of raffles, our Annual Bookfest Appeal and catering.

We have supported many including: The College Cadets, Growing Through Grief programme, Opotiki Surf Life Saving Club, Tai Mitchell and Junior Rugby, Fibre and Fleece, Opotiki College, and Plunket to name just a few.
If you would like to join Quota or get further information about Quota. Help us continue to support our town-it’s not all hard work!! Please phone Robyn Forbes, phone 3157362, we would love to hear from you.
